Some phots from FLAME at Wembley Arena on Saturday 11 March, which I had the joyful experience of being present at and meeting our representatives from Menevia.
Two groups from Menevia Diocese (Bishop Vaughan Comprehensive School and Haverfordwest Parish) were among the 10,000 from all over England & Wales who attended the Flame event in Wembley Arena on Saturday 11 March 2017, which was organized by CYMFed (the Catholic Youth Ministry Federation).
The six-hour programme consisted of key-speakers (including Cardinal Bo from Mayamar/Burma, Cardinal Nichols of Westminster), couch interviews, a backdrop of Lampedusa and other refugee experiences, inspirational songs and music based on faith and the bible from Matt Redman, and moments of prayer and worship. It was a most enjoyable and moving occasion.
