Swansea Group 158 have arrived safely to Lourdes, where they last night joined almost 3000 pilgrims on the Torchlight Procession. As part of the Hosanna House Children’s Pilgrimage Trust (HCPT), the group takes children with special needs on pilgrimage holidays every year. This year a group of 24 left Swansea early on Easter Sunday morning to join pilgrims from across the UK for a pilgrimage themed on “come to the water”. Having now been joined by Bishop Stack of Cardiff Diocese, the pilgrims of the Welsh region will join together this morning for a Welsh regional Mass.
